Version A sent 206 visitors to the site, resulting in 1,013 page views.
Version B sent 293 visitors to the site, resulting in 1,163 page views.

Version B Generated 30% more visits and 13% more page views.

Investment Advisor Group Subscribers (WM, Res, BMA):

Version A sent 102 visitors to the site, resulting in 458 page views.
Version B sent 143 visitors to the site, resulting in 545 page views.

Version B Generated 29% more visits and 16% more page views.

Now what?

Since we have definitive results, we'll continue sending version B to both lists and will expend our testing efforts elsewhere. As a side note, we also sent version B to the AMD registered rep list, which generated 246 visits and 957 page views.

My testing tip: Choosing which emails to test

When deciding which emails to test, we decided to start by focusing on the emails we do most frequently - once or twice a month, such as blog emails, CE tests or news updates - rather than 1-off promotional efforts.
